And what a return it is! A superb album. They've lost nothing in the intervening years. I'm not going to say it's a more mature group of songs or any other false platitude. This is simply The Chills as they always have album is a natural progression in their journey, but it fits in perfectly with every step that has gone before/5(24).

The Lost EP was a release by New Zealand band The Chills. The title came from the fact that the recordings which make up the EP were thought to be lost for some time and the release of the EP was delayed as a result. All six tracks from the EP were later re-released as part of the Kaleidoscope World compilation CD.

The album was a compilation of early singles, plus all the Chills' tracks which featured on the Dunedin Double EP and The Lost EP. It was reissued in by Flying Nun with a bonus 7-inch single, "I'll Only See You Alone Again"/"Green Eyed Owl". This EP did not feature any of the band's previous or future singles, and itself peaked at #4 on the New Zealand singles charts in The Chills undertook their first European tour that same year.

As stated earlier this is a collection of The Chills early 7" singles and The Lost EP. Incredibly catchy classic Flying Nun pop at it's best. You'll be humming these songs all day, they're very infectious. If you like this also have a look around for the Brave Words LP which followed the /5(11).
