Your Funeral My Trial was the first album in the chronology of Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds that really got down to the nitty gritty of what makes Nick Cave and his band who they are. It's unbelievably dark but the stories are told through the instruments in a forceful manner that punches you right in the gut and makes you vomit.

My InterpretationFirst and foremost Stranger Than Kindness is my favorite Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds's a very strong sense of hopelessness and I can't ignore it. I'm not quite sure what the hopelessness is about it. Maybe it's decaying love or something from the outside that caused it.
