Frank Rosolino, Thad Jones, Terry Gibbs, et al Savoy Savoy (label) Jazz (CD, LP) We realize that there are many different interpretations of the standard grades used for pre-owned vinyl record albums & CD, so we thought we'd offer you the ones that we are working with, so you have an idea what we mean when we give the grade for a non-new item Brand: Savoy (Label).

These live performances at Carmelo’s were a great experience for me. It was a chance to play with some of my favorite players and, as time has proven, they have become jazz legends. Because of the time limitations of LP’s, we had to choose from 2 nites of recording and only six tunes were picked for the original LP release.

Terry Gibbs Format: Vinyl. out of 5 stars 2 ratings. Don't get me wrong, I dig Terry. Maybe a bit energetic at times, but he certainly knows what he's doing and can swing. Still, I can't help imagining having Milt or Bobby on this date. While you're at it look for a LP copy of "Take It From Me" which has great sound and will play /5(2).

The tragic trombonist Frank Rosolino leads a session, also originally recorded for Dee Gee. Joined by pianist Barry Harris, bassist Billy Christ, and drummer Stan Levey, Rosolino is in great form on his driving original, "Rubberneck," as well as a spirited take of the oldie "Take Me Out to the Ball Game." This now-unavailable CD will be of.
