    Apr 22,  · The first is a tape of Pigpen by himself in ‘63, performing ‘McKernan’s Blues’ on guitar (actually very similar to Katie Mae), then ‘Rocky Mountain Blues’. Then there’s a tape from ’64 with Pigpen and Peter Albin, playing John Henry and Hoochie Coochie Man - Albin on guitar and Pigpen singing and playing harmonica.
