Oct 15,  · I'm willing to waste what this world has to offer For infinite grace. God, you bore my shame, I won't make the mistake of living like I'm my own Take me, break me, mold me, make me into something new.

It seem that with the switch at lead singer it has given the rest of the band as a whole to spread their wings and grow into something new. I think the songs on this new album are some of the best written and performed songs the band has /5().

And for those that not only like and appreciate Yes' other classic progressive works but want to get even closer to the edge, there is nothing quite like "Tales From Topographic Oceans". It truly is a one-of-a-kind album for Yes, but you'll have to listen a few times to decide if that's a good thing or not/5().

This, however, is something new and interesting. The lyrics are not as good as they used to be, but the melody and tune and the interesting move away from guitars to almost synth-pop is great and suits him really well. There's genuinely only one duff track on the entire album (The Secret of Music). The rest all have their own charms/5().

I can tell this band was trying for something new, so kudos to these guys for experimenting with their songwriting potential and /5(19).

I'm super charged for this beast Favorite track: Jurassic | Cretaceous. Ippocalyptica I have been waiting for the second part of Phanerozoic for over a year and a half now, and as with all things involving The Ocean, one does not rush what always ends up being absolutely top-tier progressive metal.
